Thousands Participate in 'Hizb Tiger’s' Funeral | KNO

Thousands of people Tuesday participated in the multiple-funeral prayers of top Hizb militant Sameer Tiger in district Pulwama.

Locals informed that multiple-funerals were held at native village of Sameer in Drabgam, Pulwama. They said that thousands are still pouring in at Drabgam to get last glimpses of the slain militant. We have learnt that militants also appeared at the funeral of Sameer to pay their respects to the slain militant. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed across Kashmir to mourn the civilian and militant killings.

Pulwama correspondent informed newsroom that heavy deployment of government forces has been put in place to thaw protests in Pulwama district. He said heavy deployment of forces have been made at Murran Chowk, Rajpora Chowk, near Bus Stand and other sensitive places of the district.
